Cassie Beck, Greg Keller, Brian Sgambati Set for Rachel Axler’s Smudge

Cassie Beck, Greg Keller, and Brian Sgambati will star in Rachel Axler’s Smudge to run January 3-February 7 at the Women’s Project’s Julia Miles Theatre. Pam MacKinnon will direct the production.

The dark comedy is about the changing face of the American family and the limits of love and cheesecake, as a hopeful young couple gives birth to a smudge. Axler is currently a staff writer of NBC’s hit comedy series Parks & Recreation and she won two Emmy Awards for her work as a staff writer on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.

The creative team will include Narelle Sissons (scenic design), Clint Ramos (costume design), Russell Champa (lighting design), and Asa Wember (sound design).
