Carolee Carmello, Patina Miller, Jerry Zaks Set for Sister Act Talkback at 92Y Tribeca

Carolee Carmello and Patina Miller, who currently star as Mother Superior and Deloris Van Cartier, respectively, in Broadway’s Sister Act will join that show’s director, Jerry Zaks, for Sister Act: Songs and Talk-Back With the Cast at 92Y Tribeca on Tuesday, January 24 at Noon.
The event will feature Sister Act cast members singing favorite songs, and talking about the show.
Based on the movie of the same name, the musical features a score by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater and a book by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner and Douglas Carter Beane. It centers on a woman, who, after witnessing a murder, is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won’t be found: a convent.
