Carey Anderson, Ann Harada, et al. Set for Awesome & Awesomer!!! Concerts

Carey Anderson, Adam Halpin, Ann Harada, and Gwen Hollander will take part in two performances of Awesome & Awesomer!!!: The Songs of Phoebe Kreutz, at the Triad, September 26-27 at 7pm. Alan Muraoka will direct the concerts, which will have musical direction by Jason Loffredo.

Composer/lyricist Kreutz’s joke-folk songs include “Oh, Elizabeth I,” “Lonesomest Dove on the F Train,” “Disaster,” and “The Ballad of Throat Culture.” As a lyricist, she’s written for Johnny and the Sprites, Dance Dance Revolution and The Water Coolers. She’s currently working on two new musicals, The Dirty Hippie Jam Band Project with Dan Israel and Thanks! with Gary Adler.
