The next installment of The Meeting, a monthly event hosted by Justin Sayre, will celebrate the hit television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer on March 16 at Joe's Pub. The comedy/variety show returns to Lower Manhattan following a six-month residency at the midtown supper club 54 Below.

The gathering of the International Order of Sodomites will continue its monthly downtown run through May, with tributes to writer and director John Cameron Mitchell (Sunday, April 20) and pop diva Janet Jackson (Sunday, May 18) rounding out the season.

A combination of outrageous comedy, politics, and cultural commentary, The Meeting features an iconic artist or cultural work held in high esteem by the gay community. Honorees are selected by the show's creator, writer, and host Justin Sayre, who brings in additional guest performers to add to the evening's program.
