Bublé, Holliday, Ronstadt, Wainwright, et al. Set for Mann Center

Michael Bublé, Jennifer Holliday, Linda Ronstadt, and Rufus Wainwright are among the performers who will appear at Philadelphia’s Mann Center for the Performing Arts this season.

Holliday, the Tony Award-winning star of Dreamgirls, will appear with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops on June 1. The Pops will return to the Mann on July 31 with special guest stars, the Von Trapp Children.

Bublé, one of the country’s top-selling recording artists, will appear on August 7-8; Ronstadt, the pop music superstar and veteran of Broadway’s The Pirates of Penzance, will appear on August 15; and Wainwright, the pop troubadour who sold out Carnegie Hall with his tribute to Judy Garland, will appear on August 17.

Among the many other artists who will perform at the Mann are Celtic Woman, k.d. lang, Lyle Lovett, Morrissey, John Prine, Patty Griffin, Clay Aiken, Smokey Robinson, Cece Winans, Alison Krauss, Bruce Hornsby, and Elvis Costello.
