Bryant Park Does Broadway

Broadway comes to Byant Park with a series of lunchtime concerts.

For several years now, Bryant Park–that sylvan spot on Sixth Avenue at 42nd Street, behind the main branch of the New York Public Library–has been a haven for film buffs with its summertime series of outdoor movies, including film adaptations of classic Broadway shows. But, this summer, the park is offering the real thing.

Beginning on Thursday, July 5 and continuing through August, the casts of a number of Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals will give free outdoor concerts in the park, every Thursday at lunchtime. The series is hosted by Jammin 105 Radio under the umbrella title Broadway In Bryant Park, and the schedule is as follows:

Cabaret, on a Thursday date to be announced
