Broderick and Parker to Host Broadway Voices For Change, Starring Cook and McDonald

Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker will host Broadway Voices For Change, starring Tony Award winners Barbara Cook and Audra McDonald. The event is a benefit for America Votes, to be held at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre, Sunday, October 19, at 8pm.

America Votes is the largest grassroots voter mobilization effort in the country today, a coalition of over 40 of the most powerful national groups working together to increase progressive voter registration and turnout.

Cook made her Broadway debut in Flahooley and went on to star in such shows as Plain and Fancy, Candide, The Gay Life, She Loves Me, and The Grass Harp. She won the Tony Award for her work as Marian in The Music Man. McDonald is a four-time Tony winner for Carousel, Master Class, Ragtime, and A Raisin in the Sun. She currently stars in the TV series, Private Practice.
