The Broadway premiere of Will Eno's The Realistic Joneses will play the Lyceum Theatre beginning March 13, producers have announced. Opening night is set for April 6.
As previously reported, the new play, to be directed by Sam Gold, stars Academy Award nominee Toni Collette, Golden Globe winner Michael C. Hall, Tony and Pulitzer Prizewinner Tracy Letts, and Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei as two suburban couples with the same last name whose lives suddenly become intertwined.
The Realistic Joneses had its world premiere at Yale Repertory Theatre in 2012 under Gold's direction. The official word that the production will play the Lyceum Theatre comes less than a day after the house's previous tenant, A Night With Janis Joplin, announced that it will be moving to a smaller venue in the coming weeks.
