Cast members from the Tony and Drama Desk-nominated Broadway musical Newsies will join the previously reported recording star Clay Aiken and Tony nominee Montego Glover at Family Equality Council's Night at the Pier celebration in New York City on Tuesday, May 8.

The event will feature Broadway-themed performances in honor of the 30th anniversary of Family Equality Council - the national organization that connects, supports and represents the one million parents in the U.S. who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT).

Aiken is currently featured on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. He is perhaps best known for his appearances on FOX's American Idol, and was seen on Broadway in Monty Python's Spamalot, playing the role of Sir Robin. Glover received at Tony nomination for her performance as Felicia Farrell in Memphis.

As previously reported, Daryl Roth and Scott Davenport will be honored at the celebration.
