Broadway’s Golden Boy Moves First Preview to November 9

Lincoln Center Theater’s Broadway production of Clifford Odets’ Golden Boy, will now begin previews at theBelasco Theatre on November 9, one day later than previously announced. Bartlett Sher will helm the revival, which will open officially on December 6.

As previously reported,
Seth Numrich will lead the company as the titular “Golden Boy,” Joe Bonaparte, a young man torn between life as a boxer and a violinist.

The principal company also includes Tony Shalhoub as Mr. Bonaparte, Yvonne Strahovski as Lorna Moon, Danny Burstein as Tokio, and Dagmara Dominczyk as Anna Bonaparte.

The cast also features Michael Aronov, Anthony Crivello, Demosthenes Crysan, Sean Cullen, Ned Eisenberg, Brad Fleischer, Karl Glusman, Jonathan Hadary, Daniel Jenkins, Danny Mastrogiorgio, Dion Mucciacito, Vayu O’Donnell, Lucas Caleb Rooney, and David Wohl.

The creative team includes Michael Yeargan (scenic design), Catherine Zuber, (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), and Peter John Still and Marc Salzberg (sound design).
