Broadway’s Death of a Salesman Cancels First Preview

Tonight’s first preview performance for the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, at the Barrymore Theatre, has been cancelled due to the illness of star Philip Seymour Hoffman, who has the flu. Previews are expected to begin tomorrow evening, Tuesday, February 14.

Hoffman stars as Willy Loman, with the cast also featuring Linda Emond as Linda Loman, and Andrew Garfield as Biff Loman, Finn Wittrock as Happy, Fran Kranz as Bernard, Bill Camp as Charley, John Glover as Ben, Glenn Fleshler as Stanley, and Stephanie Janssen as Miss Forsythe. Mike Nichols directs the production.

Tickets should be returned to point of purchase.
