Broadway Bares to Present Intimate Solo Strips Show

The event gives “a behind-the-scenes look at the ”Bares”’ infamous men.”

Broadway Bares will kick off its 2015 season with Broadway Bares – Solo Strips on May 10 at 42West. The event will be directed by Tony Spinosa (La Cage aux Folles) and feature Matilda The Musical's Lesli Margherita serving as host.

Broadway Bares Solo Strips (#bwaybares) brings the appeal of Broadway Bares to a more intimate venue, giving "fans of Broadway Bares a behind-the-scenes look at the Bares’ infamous men." The all male cast of 10 will perform choreographed stripteases to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

This year's cast for Broadway Bares Solo Strips will include Lawrence Alexander (The Lion King), Yurel Echezarreta (Aladdin), Josh Green (Wicked), Mark MacKillop (West Side Story international tour), Jaysin McCollum (The Lion King), Christopher Messina (Jersey Boys), Jamal Story (Motown: The Musical), Kit Treece (Radio City's New York Spring Spectacular), Kei Tsuruharatani (The King and I). and Ryan Worsing (Chicago).

Other upcoming Broadway Bares offerings include this year's annual benefit, Broadway Bares – Top Bottoms of Burlesque, and Broadway Bares Fire Island.
