Sarah Jones’ acclaimed solo show Bridge and Tunnel will play a limited engagement at the Helen Hayes Theater, January 13-March 12. In the show, which had a lengthy run in 2004 at The Culture Project, Jones plays a variety of characters of different genders, ages, and nationalities who come together at a poetry reading. Tony Taccone will once again direct the production, which will officially open on January 26.

As a result, Jay Johnson: The Two and Only has briefly delayed its engagement at the Hayes. Previews will now begin on March 21, with an official opening on April 3. In that show, the famed ventroliquist — who is best known for playing the schizophrenic Chuck and Bob on the classic television comedy Soap — gives voice to characters ranging from a subversive monkey to a withering tennis ball.

The Hayes’s current tenant, Latinologues, is scheduled to play there through December 31. Earlier this week, it was announced that Latin recording artist and film star Jaime Camil will join the cast on November 25.
