Brian Stokes Mitchell and Peter Filichia to Host John Willis Memorial November 22

Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell and TheaterMania contributor Peter Filichia will host a Memorial Celebration for the life of John Willis, at The National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South), on Monday, November 22.

The event will feature tributes and performances, with musical direction by Alex Rybeck. There will be a cocktail hour from 7pm to 8pm (cash bar), with the Memorial itself slated to begin at 8pm. Dress code is business casual.

As previously reported, John Willis, founder and former editor of the Theatre World and Screen World annuals, and founder and longtime producer of the annual Theatre World Awards, died on June 25, at his home in Manhattan, of complications from lung cancer. He was 93.

Admission is free, however reservations are required and can be made at rsvp@theatreworldawards.org.
