Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ Neighbors Extends Through March 14 at the Public Theater

The Public Theater has extended Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ Neighbors through March 14. Niegel Smith has directed the production, which is part of the 2009-2010 Public LAB season. Along with news of the extension, the Public has announced that the production will officially open to the press on March 7.

Neighbors focuses on the impact that a family of black actors has on one of their more staid new neighbors.

The company features Jocelyn Bioh (Topsy), Danielle Davenport (Melody), Brandon Gill (Jim), Birgit Huppuch (Jean), Chris McKinney (Richard), Okieriete Onaodowan (Sambo), Tonye Patano (Mammy), and Eric Jordan Young (Zip).
