Bogosian, O’Connell, Ortiz, Rubin-Vega, Stuhlbarg, et al. Set for LAByrinth Season

The LAByrinth Theatre Company will present its two series of free staged readings of new plays this fall at the Public Theater. The Barn Series will run October 23-November 15 and its Live Nude Plays series will run November 16-19.

Over 15 playwrights will be represented in these festivals including Stephen Belber, Cusi Cram, Stephen Adly Guirgis, Brett C. Leonard, and Megan Mostyn-Brown; directors include Carolyn Cantor, Mimi O’Donnell, and Pedro Pascal.

Participating actors in the series will include Vanessa Aspillaga, Eric Bogosian, Elizabeth Canavan, Kevin Geer, Florencia Lozano, Deidre O’Connell, John Ortiz, Portia, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Felix Solis, Michael Stuhlbarg, and David Zayas.

The company’s season will continue with a workshop production of David Bar-Katz’s Philip Roth in Khartoum, directed by John Gould Rubin, to run December 4-21.
