Bobby Steggert Joins Anderson and Denman in Yank!

Bobby Steggert, who received an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for his portrayal of Jimmy Curry in the revival of 110 in the Shade, will join previously announced stars Nancy Anderson and Jeffry Denman in Yank!, a musical by brothers David and Joseph Zellnik, at the Gallery Players in Brooklyn, October 20-November 4. The production will be directed by Igor Goldin, with choreography by Denman.

Set during World War II, the show takes a look at gays in the military by following the story of a war reporter and an army private who fall in love and struggle to survive in a time and place where the odds are stacked against them. A previous incarnation of the musical was a hit of the 2005 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

The cast will also feature, Chris Carfizzi, Jonathan Day, Maxime de Toledo, Todd Faulkner, Tyson Kaup, Matthew Marks, Brian Mulay, Daniel Shevlin, and James Stover. The creative team includes Daniel Feyer (musical direction), Wayne Yeager (technical direction), Ray Klausen (scenic consultant), Ken Lapham (lighting), and Josh Clayton (orchestrations).
