Bobby Cannavale, Mario Lopez, Ricky Martin, Sara Ramirez Among ALMA Award Nomimnees

Nominations for this year’s ALMA Awards, which honors Latinos in entertainment, have been announced. The awards, which will be co-hosted by Eva Longoria and George Lopez, will air live on NBC on Friday, September 16 at 8pm.

Ricky Martin, who will star the upcoming Broadway revival of Evita, is among the nominees for Favorite Male Musical Artist

ALMA nominees also fellow stage veterans Antonio Banderas (You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger), Demián Bichir (A Better Life), Bobby Cannavale (Win Win), Ricardo Antonio Chavira (Desperate Housewives), Rosario Dawson (Unstoppable), Mario Lopez ( Mario Lopez: Saved By the Baby), James Roday (Psych), Sara Ramirez (Grey’s Anatomy), Sofia Vergara (Modern Family), Lauren Velez (Dexter), and David Zayas (Dexter).
