Something Rotten! star Heidi Blickenstaff and Hand to God's Marc Kudisch will take part in a reading of the new play Triumph on May 28. Directed by Andy Sandberg (Application Pending), the work is written by Benjamin David Hoffman.

The play is described as follows: "In 1999, Oregon repealed the religious defense from its penal codes. It took eight years for a case to come before the courts to vet it. Triumph is a fictional stage-play inspired by true events. Carl & Farris Greyson suffer the loss of their fifteen-month-old daughter to pneumonia, a curable condition, because instead of seeking medical treatment, they pray for her. In their community, a small sect of a few thousand people, the death rate of children under the age of two is twenty-six times higher than the rest of the country. The night of the Greysons’ arrest, Detective Harvey Carmichael takes down their confessions. As he questions their guilt, responsibility, and home life, the lines between good and bad, cop and convict, saved and damned begin to blur."

The company will also feature Jon Patrick Walker (High Fidelity).
