Bevel, Calvert, Laws, et al. Set for Crossroad’s It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues

Full casting has been announced for Crossroads Theatre Company’s tenth anniversary production of It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues, written by Charles Bevel, Lita Gaithers, Randal Myler, Ron Taylor and Dan Wheetman, with direction by Mylar. The musical will run November 6-16.

The musical, which was originally produced by Crossroads Theatre Company in 1998 prior to a Tony-nominated Broadway run, traces the roots of the blues.

Original cast members Mississippi Charles Bevel, Carter Calvert, Eloise Laws, Gregory Porter, and Danny Wheetman will be joined by Sandra Reaves-Phillips and Chic Streetman.
