Bette Midler will be a panelist on NBC’s The Marriage Ref, according to TVGuide.com. The episode featuring Midler, along with Howie Mandel and one additional guest, will air on May 13.

In the show, co-created and produced by Jerry Seinfeld and hosted by comedian Tom Papa, a trio of celebrity judges will watch videotapes of real-life married couples who are arguing and will then make comments about the situation. Afterwards, Papa will make a final decision on which member of the couple is right.

Midler made her Broadway debut in the original company of Fiddler on the Roof, and received a special Tony Award in conjunction with her Clams on the Half Shell Revue. She received Oscar nominations for her work in the films The Rose and For the Boys. Her many other film credits include Beaches, The First Wives Club, Down and Out in Beverly Hills, and The Stepford Wives. In addition, she played Mama Rose in the CBS television version of Gypsy.
