Bern Cohen to Star as Abbie Hoffman in Solo Show Abbie

Actor and educator Bern Cohen will star as Abbie Hoffman in the one-man show Abbie, to play the West End Theatre, January 6-29.

Cohen has arranged and adapted Hoffman’s own writings and speeches for the piece, which will also feature historical footage, archived photos and digital projections. The production aims to create a unique theatrical experience that exposes the little-known private side of Abbie Hoffman, whose work and ideas remain the beliefs of many activists today.

The production features projection design by Morgan Paul Freeman and lighting design by Zach Spitzer.
