Casting has been announced for the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Broadway premiere of Marc Camoletti’s classic farce Don’t Dress For Dinner, adapted by Robin Hawdon, to play the American Airlines Theatre. John Tillinger will direct the production, to run March 30-June 17, with an opening set for April 26.

In this sequel to the Broadway hit Boeing-Boeing, Bernard’s plans for a romantic rendezvous with his mistress are complete with a gourmet caterer and an alibi courtesy of his friend, Robert. But when Bernard’s wife learns that Robert will be visiting for the weekend, she decides to stay in town for a surprise tryst of her own.

The production will star Ben Daniels as Robert, Melora Hardin as Jacqueline, Adam James as Bernard and Jennifer Tilly as Suzanne, and also include Spencer Kayden as Suzette and one more cast member to be announced.

The design team will include John Lee Beatty (sets), William Ivey Long (costumes), Ken Billington (lights), and David Van Tieghem (sound).

Daniels received a Tony nomination for his performance in Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Hardin is perhaps best known for her role as Jan Levinson in NBC’s The Office. James won a Lortel Award and received a Drama Desk nomination for his work in The Pride Off-Broadway. Tilly was Oscar-nominated for Bullets Over Broadway. Kayden originated the role of Urinetown‘s Little Sally on Broadway, receiving Tony, Drama Desk, and Lortel nominations as well as Outer Critics Circle, Theatre World, and Actor’s Equity Derwent awards.
