Belzer, Carroll, Curtis, DeLaria, Hamilton, Schwartz, et al. to Appear at Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (Broadway and 66th Street) has announced its lineup of October events.

Celebrities who will appear include actress Diahann Carroll for a discussion and signing of her memoir The Legs Are the Last to Go (October 1, 7:30pm); composer Charles Strouse in discussion with ASCAP’s Michael Kerker and with special guests Susan Birkenhead, Karen Mason, Jonathan Rayson, and Karen Ziemba (October 2, 5:30pm); Lea DeLaria performing selections from her new CD The Live Smoke Sessions (October 3, 6pm); opera composer John Adams (October 7, 7:30pm); film legend Tony Curtis discussing his memoir American Prince with writer Tom Santopietro (October 14, 6pm); actor George Hamilton, discussing his memoir Don’t Mind If I Do (October 16, 7:30pm); ballet great Cynthia Gregory in discussion with author Joel Lebenthal (October 17, 7:30pm), TV star Ricard Belzer discussing his novel I Am Not a Cop (October 21, 7:30pm), Wicked author Gregory Maguire and cast members from the hit Broadway show (October 23, 5pm), and composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz in conversation with author Carol de Giere (October 30, 5:30pm).

In addition, the “Cool Mondays” series will feature Anne Correa (October 6), Glenn White (October 13), and John Pizzarrelli and Jessica Molaskey (October 27); while the “Any Wednesday” series will feature Teri Ralston (October 15), Adi Braun (October 22), and Shawn Ryan and Shaynee Rainbolt (October 29).
