Jesus Christ Superstar, Secret Garden, and Gypsy Recordings Coming to Vinyl

Barnes & Noble is bringing back its popular Vinyl Weekend event, taking place November 16-18 nationwide, and several cast recordings are on the merchandise list.

Among the vinyls available is NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert, featuring the vocals of John Legend (Jesus), Sara Bareilles (Mary), Alice Cooper (King Herod), Brandon Victor Dixon (Judas), Ben Daniels (Pontius Pilate), Norm Lewis (Caiaphas), Jason Tam (Peter), Jin Ha (Annas), and Erik Gronwall (Simon Zealotes).

Also available is the original cast recording of The Secret Garden, featuring Daisy Eagan as Mary Lennox, Mandy Patinkin as Archibald Craven, Rebecca Luker as Lily Craven, John Cameron Mitchell as Dickon, Robert Westenberg as Dr. Neville Craven, and Alison Fraser as Martha.

The 2008 Broadway cast recording of Gypsy, featuring Tony winners Patti LuPone, Laura Benanti, and Boyd Gaines; the 2018 Broadway cast recording of Carousel, starring Joshua Henry, Jessie Mueller, Renée Fleming, and Tony winner Lindsay Mendez; the original film soundtracks of Camelot and The Music Man; and Cher's new album, Dancing Queen will also be a part of the event.
