Stage veterans Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Antonio Banderas and Romola Garai will star in Sir Richard Eyre’s new film The Other Man, according to Variety. The film, co-written by Eyre and Charles Wood from a book by Bernhard Schlink, focuses on a husband who starts to suspect he’s not the only man in his wife’s life, and sets out to track down his rival.

Eyre is currently represented on Broadway as co-director of Mary Poppins, and received Tony Award nominations for directing Skylight and The Crucible, the revival of the Arthur Miller drama that starred Neeson and Linney. Eyre’s films include Notes on a Scandal, Iris, and Stage Beauty.

In addition to The Crucible, Neeson has appeared on Broadway in Anna Christie and The Judas Kiss. Linney’s Broadway credits include Holiday and Sight Unseen, and she will star in the upcoming Roundabout Theatre revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Banderas starred on Broadway in Nine, for which he received a Tony Award nomination and a Drama Desk Award. Garai recently appeared at BAM in the RSC’s productions of King Lear and The Seagull.
