Baldwin, Broderick, Lewis, Testa, et al. Set for Comden & Green’s New York Benefit

Michael Arnold, Kate Baldwin, Stephanie J. Block, Walter Bobbie, Matthew Broderick, Jonathan Dokuchitz, Jonathan Freeman, Ann Harada, Sean Martin Hingston, Norm Lewis, Jessica Molaskey, John Pizzarelli, Mary Testa, and Max Von Essen will star in Comden & Green’s New York – From Greenwich Village to the Great White Way, a benefit for Greenwich House Music School on Monday, June 9 at 7:30pm at the Barrow Street Theatre.

The show, produced by Jim Caruso and written and directed by Amanda Green, will be an homage to the team’s revues and Broadway hits, such as Bells Are Ringing, Wonderful Town, On the Town, On the Twentieth Century, Hallelujah, Baby!, Applause, Peter Pan, Do Re Mi, and The Will Rogers Follies.

The pair also enjoyed success as screenwriters with the films Singin’ in the Rain, The Band Wagon, It’s Always Fair Weather, Take Me Out to the Ball Game, and The Barkleys of Broadway.
