Audra McDonald, Liza Minnelli, Sissy Spacek Set for Upcoming Barnes and Noble Events

Barnes and Noble has announced further details for its May and early June slate of celebrity appearances and signings.

Lisa Rinna and Ian Kerner will discuss and sign copies of their new book The Big, Fun, Sexy Sex Book on Thursday, May 3 at 7pm at the 86th and Lexington Avenue store. Also at 7pm, Sissy Spacek will discuss and sign copies of her new memoir My Extraordinary Ordinary Life, written with Maryanne Vollers, at the Union Square store. The discussion will be led by The Help author Kathryn Stockett.

Liza Minnelli will sign copies of her new CD Legends of Broadway: Liza Minnelli Live at the Winter Garden on Wednesday, May 9 at noon at the Fifth Avenue location.

The same day, Steve Guttenberg will sign copies of his new memoir The Guttenberg Bible: A Memoir at 7pm at the 82nd and Broadway location.

On Monday, May 21 at 4pm, 2012 Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes, Judy Judy Kuhn, Anastasia Barzee, Bobby and Kristen Lopez, Ricky Ian Gordon, Bill Russell and others will perform selections from and sign copies of Over the Moon: The Broadway Lullaby Project at the 86th and Lexington Avenue Barnes and Noble location.

The next day, Tuesday, May 22 at 4pm, 2012 Tony Award nominees Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis, David Alan Grier and other cast members from The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess will sign copies of the musical’s upcoming cast recording at the same location.

Also on Tuesday, May 22 at the 82nd and Broadway location, writer Tom Santopietro will lead a discussion with producer Jordan Roth, Crystal A. Dickinson and 2012 Tony Award nominee Jeremy Shamos about Bruce Norris’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play Clybourne Park.

On Tuesday, June 5, Joan Rivers will discuss her new book I Hate Everyone…Starting With Me at the 17th Street location.
