US Premiere of Manhattan Project Musical Atomic Set to Begin Performances

Damien Gray will direct the new show, which stars Euan Morton, Jeremy Kushnier, Randy Harrison, and more.

Performances of the new off-Broadway musical Atomic will begin tomorrow, June 26, at Theatre Row's Acorn Theater. The show, which is directed by Damien Gray, features book and lyrics by Danny Ginges and Gregory Bonsignore, and music and lyrics by Philip Foxman. Choreography will be by Gregg Graham.

Atomic tells the story of the Manhattan Project, a government-funded program that tasked top scientists with creating the world's first atomic bomb. The plot follows Leo Szilard, the conflicted mastermind behind atomic power.

The cast includes David Abeles, Alexis Fishman, Sara Gettelfinger, Jonathan Hammond, Randy Harrison, Jeremy Kushnier, James David Larson, Euan Morton, and Grace Stockdale.

The production features scenic design by Neil Patel, costume design by Emma Kingsbury, lighting design by David Finn, and sound design by Jon Weston.
