Atlantic Extends Voysey Through March 25, Postpones Parlour Song logo

The Atlantic Theater Company has extended the scheduled run of its critically acclaimed production of Harley Granville Barker's The Voysey Inehritance for the third time, through Sunday, March 25. As a result, the company has postponed its previously announced third show, Jez Butterworth's Parlour Song, until the 2007-2008 season.

Barker's 1905 play, which is being presented in an adaptation by Atlantic co-founder David Mamet, tells of a British family rocked by scandal when it's discovered the patriarch has been embezzling funds. The Atlantic production is directed by David Warren and the cast is led by Fritz Weaver, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Samantha Soule.

The Atlantic will conclude its current season wiith 10 Million Miles, a new musical by Patty Griffin (music and lyrics) and Keith Bunin (book), to be directed by Michael Mayer. Casting and dates are yet to be announced.
