Ashley Lanyon, Ryan Overberg, Haley Selmon Set for NYMF’s Le Cabaret Grimm

Full casting has been announced for the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presentation of Le Cabaret Grimm, to perform at The 45th St. Theatre Mainstage, July 23-28.

This punk cabaret, created by the Boston-based company Liars & Believers, is adapted from Tales of the Brothers Grimm. It tells the story of a young girl thrust into the dark wood who travels the world to save her enchanted prince. The musical features book, lyrics and direction by Jason Slavick and music and music direction by Cassandra Marsh.

The cast will feature Meryn Beckett, Ashley Lanyon, Bart Mather, Ryan Overberg, Jenna Schoen, Haley Selmon, Brandon Timmons, and Alessandra Vaganek.

The creative team will include Michelle Chasse (choreography), Eric Bornstein (mask design), Alexandra Carporale and Tyler Brown (puppet design), Aaron Sherkow (lighting design), and Kendra Bell (costume design).
