Ars Nova has announced plans and performers for the Ars Nova Revolution, which will celebrate Ars Nova All Stars Jill Furman, Thomas Kail, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The event will take place September 21 at 6:30pm at the Edison Ballroom. It will look back on the trio's journey from Freestyle Love Supreme (Ars Nova, 2004) to Hamilton (Broadway, 2015), in a night of revelry benefiting Ars Nova’s artist community.

Performers slated to appear at the Ars Nova Revolution include Daveed Diggs (Hamilton), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton), Mandy Gonzalez (In the Heights), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton), Christopher Jackson (Hamilton), Jasmine Cephas Jones (Hamilton), Jo Lampert, Arthur Lewis, Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hamilton), Anthony Ramos (Hamilton), Bill Sherman (In the Heights), Phillipa Soo (Hamilton), Chris Sullivan, Shaina Taub, Anthony Veneziale, and more.

Partnering with producer Jill Furman, who was working on another project with Miranda and Kail, Ars Nova coproduced Miranda and Kail’s first professional New York production: Freestyle Love Supreme in 2004.

"It feels especially fitting to honor these three Ars Nova All Stars for their excellence and innovation in the American theater at such a monumental high point in their careers," said artistic director Jason Eagan in a statement. "Jill shares Ars Nova’s philosophy of getting behind an artist’s vision in a holistic way. Tommy and Lin have a bigger playground now, but continue to think outside the box and innovate as they did on the Ars stage.
