Applegate, Gibson, Kunken, et al. Set for Irish Rep’s Free Reading of The Electric Century

Andrew Case’s The Electric Century will be presented at 3pm on Friday, April 25 at the Irish Repertory Theatre. Tickets are free, and the event is open to the public.

The Electric Century is an historical fantasy which imagines that Thomas Edison, on the verge of a breakthrough discovery, met Belle da Costa Greene, the curator of JP Morgan’s Library. As the two grow closer, Tom learns some of Belle’s deepest secrets, and he finds she may have been the better inventor after all.

The cast will include Fred Applegate, Meg Gibson, Salvatore Inzerillo, Stephen Kunken, Sarah Lord, K.K. Moggie, and Jay Patterson.

Upcoming readings will be presented May 23, September 26, October 24, November 21 and December 5.
