Antoinette LaVecchia, Andy Paris, and Amelia Workman will star in the world premiere of Susan Mosakowski’s A World Apart, to be presented by Creation Production Company at The Flea Theater, February 4-26, with an opening on February 6. Jean Randich will direct.

In the play Mother Augustina (LaVecchia) wonders how, as Abbess, she can lead her nuns into the future if she cannot explain worldly issues to them. Grappling with the problem of whether she should continue to live the monastic life, she meets Father Byrne (Paris) who thinks that he can do more for the world by leaving the priesthood. Together they go beyond their cloistered walls, but will the boundaries they break give them new freedom?

The creative team will include Lee Savage (set), Jennifer Moeller (costumes), Mark Barton (lighting), and Robert Murphy (sound).
