Anthony J. Wilkinson’s My Big Gay Italian Wedding to Play St. Lukes Theatre

A revised version of Anthony J. Wilkinson’s 2003 comedy My Big Gay Italian Wedding will play an open-ended engagement at St. Luke’s Theatre, beginning performances on May 5 in anticipation of a May 22 opening. Teresa A. Cicala will direct the production, which will feature wedding dances staged by Austin Eyer.

The play focuses on two gay men as they plan their wedding and the people around them, including an overbearing Italian mother, a jealous ex-boyfriend, the wedding planner from Hell, and an assortment of family and friends. Casting and creative team will be announced at a later date.
