Annie Baker’s The Aliens Extends Off-Broadway Through May 29

The world premiere of Annie Baker’s The Aliens, at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, has added five additional performances, and will now close on May 29.

In the play, directed by Sam Gold, two angry young men sit outside a Vermont coffee shop and discuss music and Bukowski. When a lonely high school student arrives on the scene, they decide to teach him everything they know. The cast includes Michael Chernus, Dane DeHaan, and Erin Gann.

The creative team includes Andrew Lieberman (sets), Bobby Tilley (costumes), Tyler Mycelou (lights), and Bart Fasbender (sound).

Baker’s other plays include Body Awareness, Circle Mirror Transformation, The End of the Middle Ages, and NOCTURAMA.
