Andrew Lippa, Kate Baldwin, and Conor Ryan to Celebrate John & Jen Cast Recording

Keen artistic director Jonathan Silverstein helmed the recent off-Broadway production.

The recent Keen Company production of John & Jen will celebrate the upcoming release of the 2015 off-Broadway cast recording for Broadway Records on June 6 with a John & Jen Album Release Concert at 54 Below. The album is set for a June 16 release.

John & Jen features music by Andrew Lippa, lyrics by Tom Greenwald, and a book by Greenwald and Lippa. Andrew Lippa and Michael Croiter produced the album, with musical direction by Lily Lang. This recording will include the premiere of the new song "Trouble With Men," as well as new orchestrations and two songs from the score never before recorded.

Spanning the years 1952-1990, John & Jen is a two-person show about the relationship between a brother and a sister, and her relationship with her son. Keen Company's John & Jen starred Broadway favorite Kate Baldwin and newcomer Conor Ryan. Keen artistic director Jonathan Silverstein directed the production at the Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row where it ran from February 26-April 4.
