Andersen, Coulter, Di Pasqua,, Hall, Lutvak, Mayes to Perform Hallways at Barnes & Noble

Tom Andersen, Scott Coulter, Tim Di Pasqua, Steven Lutvak, and Sally Mayes will join composer Carol Hall to sing selections from the recently released CD, Hallways: The Songs of Carol Hall, at 6pm on Wednesday, April 23 as part of the Any Wednesday series at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (Broadway and 66th Street). The free performance will be followed by a CD signing.

Among the selections to be performed will be “Hard Candy Christmas,” “Jenny Rebecca,” “Circle of Friends,” “It’s Only a Broken Heart,” “I’ll Imagine You a Song,” and “War on Christmas Day.” The vocalists will be accompanied by pianist Hubert “Tex” Arnold and bassist Jon Burr.

Hall is best known as the composer-lyricist of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and has written the scores or contributed songs to such show s as Max and Ruby, A My Name Is Alice, and Hats. She has won the Emmy Award, MAC Award, and Johnny Mercer Award, among other honors.
