Naomi Wallace's And I and Silence is currently in previews at The Pershing Square Signature Center, in a production directed by Caitlin McLeod. The drama follows two imprisoned teenagers — one black and one white — who form a perilous bond as they forge a plan for survival. The cast includes Trae Harris as Young Jamie, Rachel Nicks as Jamie, Emily Skeggs as Young Dee, and Samantha Soule as Dee.

Performances began August 5 at the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre. Opening night is set for August 25. The show will run through September 14.
