An Impossible Thing Productions has announced plans for the New York premiere of David Schulner's An Infinite Ache, directed by Joshua Warr. The play will offer a limited three-week engagement at The Gallery at Access Theater from November 7-22.

An Infinite Ache tells the story of an intercultural relationship that develops between Hope, an Asian woman, and Charles, a Jewish man. The two lonely 20-somethings are about to end what has been a dull first date when they are confronted with the infinite directions a life together could bring them. Eric Kuehnemann (Octopus Love Story) and Nancy Sun (Pornography for the People) star as the two lovers, with scenic design by Jason Lee Courson (NEWSical).

Schulner is an American television writer whose credits include the NBC series The Event, Kings, and Trauma, HBO's Tell Me You Love Me, and ABC's Desperate Housewives. His other playwriting credits include Isaac, a retelling of the biblical story of Abraham, and This Thing of Darkness, which he cowrote with Tony-nominated playwright Craig Lucas (Prelude to a Kiss).
