Allam, de la Tour, and Rylance to Headline Boeing-Boeing in London
The play concerns a Bernard, a successful architect living in Paris, who manages simultaneous romances with three airline hostesses with the help of his trusty housekeeper. However, the arrival of an old friend and changes in airline schedules lead to unexpected complications.
The show's creative team include Rob Howell (sets and costumes) and Hugh Vanstone (lighting). Warchus' credits include the Broadway productions of True West, Art, Life x 3, and Follies, and London productions of Endgame and Hamlet.
Allam's many stage credits include Blackbird and Alladin, and he currently appears in the film The Queen. De la Tour is best known for playing Mrs. Lintott in The History Boys, for which she won the Tony Award; she has recreated that role in the film version of the play. Rylance is the artistic director of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and has starred in such plays as Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, and Twelfth Night.
