Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter Set for Amy Heckerling’s Vamps Movie

Alicia Silverstone will star in the new movie Vamps, according to published reports. The film will co-star Krysten Ritter and will be directed by Amy Heckerling, who directed Silverstone in Clueless.
In Vamps, Silverstone and Ritter will play two female vampires who are living it up in Manhattan until love enters the picture. Each then has to make a choice that will jeopardize her immortality.
Silverstone, who made her Broadway debut in The Graduate, is currently appearing on Broadway in Donald Margulies’ Time Stands Still. The actress received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in the television series Miss Match.
