Alex Brightman, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Lindsay Mendez Set for Ryan Scott Oliver Concerts in February

Ryan Scott Oliver will celebrate the release of Music+Lyrics by Ryan Scott Oliver: Volume 1, his first published songbook of 20 songs from his musicals, with two concerts at Joe’s Pub on February 7 at 7pm and 9pm.

In addition to Oliver, the concert will feature performances by Alex Brightman, Jay Armstrong Johnson, and Lindsay Mendez. Additional guests will be announced in the near future.

Oliver’s musicals include 35mm, Darling, and Mrs. Sharp. His work has been seen at Kennedy Center, and New York Musical Theatre Festival, and has also been heard Off-Broadway in We the People (TheatreWorksUSA), and on the YouTube webseries The Battery’s Down. He is the recipient of a 2008 Richard Rodgers Award, 2008 Jonathan Larson Grant, the 2007 Harold Adamson Award for Excellence in Lyric Writing (ASCAP), a 2007 Dramatists Guild Fellowship, and more.
