Alec Baldwin to Host "Comedy!" Edition of Symphony Space’s Selected Shorts

Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Alec Baldwin will host a special edition of Symphony Space’s Selected Shorts series, entitled “Comedy!” on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:30pm. Celebrity guests will be announced at a later date.


Authors and celebrities will participate in next year’s series of readings will also include Tom Perrotta, David Mitchell, Jad Abumrad, Junot Diaz, Karen Russell, Lorrie Moore, Sheman Alexie, Richard Ford, Etgar Keret, and Gary Shytengart.


Baldwin will return to Broadway in 2013 in Lyle Kessler’s Orphans and has been seen on stage in Equus, Entertaining Mr. Sloane, Twentieth Century, and A Streetcar Named Desire. He is well known for his Emmy-winning work as Jack Donaghy on the NBC series 30 Rock and received an Academy Award nomination for The Cooler.
