The Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, New York has announced its 2004 mainstage season.

The season’s first production, May 25-June 6, will be Charles L. Mee’s romantic comedy Limonade Tous les Jours. Alan Alda will star under the direction of Zoe Caldwell.

Tom Stoppard’s nautical farce Rough Crossing, starring Tony Roberts, will follow. Directed by Bay Street regular Daniel Gerroll, the production will play June 15-July 4.

Next up will be Charles Busch in the title role of Auntie Mame, a co-production with the Ogunquit Playhouse that will run at Bay Street from July 13 through August 1. Busch has starred in several benefit readings of the Jerome Lawrence-Robert E. Lee play and this production will reunite him with the director of those readings, Richard Sabellico. Michael Bottari and Ronald Case, Busch’s longtime collaborators, will design the sets and costumes.

Closing out the season will be the Lynn Ahrens-Stephen Flaherty musical Once On This Island. The musical, a Broadway hit based on Rosa Guy’s novel My Love, My Love, will play August 10-September 5 in a production directed and choreographed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge.

Single tickets for all shows will be on sale as of March 2; they may be purchased by calling the Bay Street box office at 631-725-9500 or online at www.baystreet.org.
