The hit musical comedy Murder for Two, which played a raved-about run this summer as a part of Second Stage’s Uptown series at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, will transfer to New World Stages in a limited engagement this fall. Murder for Two features book and music by Joe Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair, and direction by Scott Schwartz. The show stars Jeff Blumenkrantz and Brett Ryback.

“We’re proud to give this amazing gem of a musical and its knockout performers a new run at New World Stages,” said coproducer Jayson Raitt. According to coproducer Barbara Whitman, “the fantastically funny and highly theatrical production of Murder for Two has delighted New York theatergoers all summer at Second Stage Uptown and we’re thrilled to be able to spread the laughter through the end of the year.”

Previews for the transfer will begin October 23 with an opening night set for November 6 and a final performance scheduled for January 5.
