Aaron Ramey and Kate Rockwell will star in the Westchester Broadway Theatre’s production of Phantom, Arthur Kopit and Maury Yeston’s musical adaptation of Gaston Leroux’s The Phantom of the Opera, which will run October 4-November 25 and December 27-February 9. The production, to be directed and choreographed by Tom Polum, will open officially on October 11.

The story revolves around Erik (also known as the Phantom) who was born and raised in the catacombs under the Paris Opera House and his obsession with Christine, an opera singer who he takes on as a student. The show previously played WBT in 1992 and 1996.

The production will also feature Sandy Rosenberg as Carlotta. Additional casting and design team will be announced at a later date.

Ramey, who will play Erik, has appeared in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Beauty and the Beast, and Miss Saigon; he will co-star next weekend in the York Theatre Company’s Musicals in Mufti presentation of Zorba.

Rockwell, who will play Christine, was a semi-finalist on the NBC reality series Grease: You’re The One That I Want. She recently co-starred in the North Shore Music Theatre production of Disney’s High School Musical and will be seen later this month in the NYMF production of Tully (In No Particular Order).
