Aaron Lazar and Lauren Molina Set for The Composer’s Voice

Broadway stars Aaron Lazar and Lauren Molina will participate in The Composer’s Voice: An Evening with Mark Adamo, to be held at 7pm on Monday, March 6 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.

In this first of a series of events by the American Lyric Theater, Adamo will teach a master class with Lazar, Molina, and opera singers Emily Pulley and Chad Shelton as they prepare songs from his operas Little Women and Lysistrata. The latter show will be seen at New York City Opera, March 21-April 5.

Lazar currently stars as Fabrizio in The Light in the Piazza, while Molina has the role of Johanna in the acclaimed revival of Sweeney Todd. Pulley has sung at the Metropolitan Opera and Royal Opera Covent Garden, while Shelton has appeared at New York City Opera and the Houston Grand Opera.
