A Round-Heeled Woman, Starring Sharon Gless, to Transfer to the West End’s Aldwych Theatre

Jane Prowse’s adaptation of Jane Juska’s A Round-Heeled Woman, starring Sharon Gless, will transfer to the West End’s Aldwych Theatre, beginning performances on November 24, according to a report on the website for the U.K. magazine The Stage. Prowse has directed the piece, which is currently playing through November 20 at London’s Riverside Studios.

The play is about the sexual liberation of a retired school teacher who has not had sex in 30 years, and who sets out to remedy the situation by placing an ad in the personals in the New York Review of Books. The cast also features Jane Bertish, Beth Cordingly, Barry McCarthy, Neil McCaul, and Michael Thomson.

The creative team includes production designer Matthew Wright and lighting designer by Nick Richings.
