Kinky Boots, the 2013 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, has announced its new leading cast for 2014.

Stark Sands, who earned a Tony nomination for his leading role as Charlie Price will leave the cast on January 26. Andy Kelso, who currently plays Harry in the musical, will take over Sands' role on January 28, while Jake Odmark (Spider-Man) will take over Kelso's former roles. Jeanna de Waal (American Idiot) will play Charlie's love interest, Lauren, beginning March 4, replacing the Tony-nominated Annaleigh Ashford, who is leaving to join Showtime's Masters of Sex. Billy Porter will remain with the production, continuing his Tony-winning portrayal of Lola.

Kinky Boots features a Tony-winning score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper and a book by four-time Tony winner Harvey Fierstein. The musical follows Charlie Price as he works to save his father's shoe factory by manufacturing sturdy stilettos for his fabulous drag queen clientele.
